RBF serves as Secretariat of the National Consortium for the 1,000 HPK, launched by Indonesia's Ministry of Health on 28 April 2026 to protect the generation that will carry Indonesia into its 2045 centennial, an estimated 84 million children today. The Consortium unites 30+ organisations across government, business, academia, and civil society around one shared goal: giving every child the best start in life, from conception to age two.
The challenge Indonesia's Health Minister has set an uncompromising target: cut maternal deaths tenfold, from 4,000 to under 400 a year; cut infant deaths tenfold, from 30,000 to under 3,000; and bring stunting below 7%. Hitting these numbers means tackling problems long addressed in isolation, high blood pressure in pregnancy, newborn infections, and gaps in nutrition and care, through one coordinated national effort instead of many disconnected ones.

The four Technical Working Groups give the National 1,000 HPK Consortium one coordinated structure for a journey that, for every family, unfolds in real time, from the decision to marry, through pregnancy, to a child's second birthday. TWG 1–3 follow that timeline sequentially; TWG 4 runs underneath all three, ensuring the health system itself is ready to deliver.
