FPCI ASEAN For the People Conference 2025
Jakarta — The FPCI - For the People Conference 2025, themed “Advancing a People-Centred ASEAN,” was held to foster dialogue on regional resilience, inclusivity, and community-driven development across Southeast Asia. The conference brought together policymakers, civil society organizations, academics, and private sector representatives to discuss how ASEAN can better respond to social, economic, and environmental challenges while prioritizing the well-being of its people. The forum emphasized the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in shaping a more responsive and sustainable regional framework.
Rabu Biru Foundation (RBF), represented by Fauzal, opened its participation by providing key insights during a roundtable discussion on ASEAN resilience. In his remarks, Fauzal highlighted the critical role of community empowerment, local capacity building, and evidence-based policy in strengthening regional stability. He stressed that resilience must not only be measured by economic indicators but also by access to essential services such as health, nutrition, and social protection for vulnerable populations.
The discussion underscored that a truly people-centred ASEAN requires inclusive governance, meaningful civil society engagement, and partnerships that bridge government, private sector, and grassroots initiatives. RBF reaffirmed its commitment to supporting regional efforts that enhance social resilience and sustainable development, aligning its mission with the broader vision of a cohesive, equitable, and people-focused ASEAN.
